Billy the Dunce

Hey all, another new-ish addition to the rampage network here to say “hey” and “I have a webcomic”. My name is Jason Week, and I’ve been a part of the community for a couple of months now — but a life is a busy thing to run so I haven’t been able to drop in and say hi until now.

My webcomic is Billy the Dunce, and it chronicles the ongoing adventures of a group of misfit child super-geniuses who attend a boarding school that doesn’t really know what to do with their talents. The title character is the only non-genius in his dormitory, but is still somehow forced to be the chewy moral center that holds it all together. It’s a genre mash-up centered on enjoyable and eccentric characters who have to be parents to each other because there aren’t any adults around.

Check it out when you get a chance; I’ve been at it since June, so there’s a reasonably backlog of comics. Thanks to all of you and especially John for inviting me to be a part of such a vibrant artistic community!

Alex Heberling’s Fanart Contest!

Hey there, everyone!  January 18th is going to be my 5th anniversary of making webcomics!  It was on that day in 2005 that I posted the first strip of my first webcomic, Jigworthy.  Ah, what young and reckless days.

Anyway, to celebrate this milestone, I’m holding a fanart contest!  There are many fabulous prizes to be won!  Head on over to Garanos to check out all the details!

Something Great

Hey! I’m Amanda, the creator of Something Original, a journal comic about my life as a twenty-one year-old college senior. You get to read about me being a pro at sleeping in, wasting money, trying to figure out what I’m doing after graduation, and working on my new relationship.

I’ve been thinking about making a webcomic for a few years now, but never found the motivation or inspiration to make that a reality. Well, now I have it, and I’m planning on sticking to it. Whether it’s in one panel or six, I promise to try my best at delivering some of my dry wit, and spare no details in the awkward situations I seem to get myself into. It’s a real, raw, and very open look into my life, just for you guys.

With only two months of background, the comic is still learning to stand, so to speak. But the compliments and critique that I’ve already received from readers have been really helpful, and I really appreciate all the support from the online community. Just remember… if you keep reading, I’ll keep drawing!
