Hey Sage! I've noticed in your strips that you use a fine method of texturing (I notice you also use it for Action), and I was just wondering 1) what you do/use (photoshop brushes? patterns? overlays?) and 2) how you do it?

I'm working on a comic now and I'd like to use a similar texturing method to yours, love to hear how to do it/where to get it!

I do a quick wash with a watercolor brush on a layer and just set it at either "overlay" or "soft light". With Action, I don't use any textures-it's all done with a simple soft brush tool. I like to experiment a lot. Hopefully that helps. I have the tendency of sounding like a complete moron when I explain anything. I apologize.

if i may piggy back on this topic, I too have a question:

Where did you get the inspiration for your storyline?

I got the main idea of the plot when a friend was having an awful day and said, "God hates me...". And then I thought, "What if that was true?"...

Then it just morphed into silliness from there on.

And great silliness it is too.

Man.

That is the best inspirational story I've ever heard.
