What are some webcomics that have "died"?

(almost) Completely removed from the internet, have not updated for years, webcomics that have ended without a proper ending.

I need info for an up and coming Webcomic Beacon episode!

Hmm, well, I know my first comic, Cute Ninja Girls, ended pretty abruptly just as we were starting to get a few thousand uniques a week. My creative partner, Dan Vincent, had to quit because he couldn't commit the time due to his job. If you want to spotlight that, I'd be happy to give you more info, kinda like a profile on the death of a webcomic.

The old strips are archived here:

"Basic Wage Kids" by Owen Hietmann ended abruptly after over 400 strips:

So far the pages are still there though.

TwitchGenius died a while back, and its archives have even been yanked (which is a shame, as it was snarky and clever and violent). http://twitchgenius.comicgenesis.com/ Thank goodness I had the foresight to save some of my favorites to my computer...

And Queen of Wands finished, although it ended with planning and its archives are still there to be read (with and without writer commentary). http://www.queenofwands.net/

Um... not really. There are tons of active comics on there. I read a dozen of comics on DrunkDuck frequently, and I am currently crossing over with some.

Some of my no-longer-updating favorites:

Dreamleak ended without even getting into the story.
Flounderville has been updateless for almost a year. (looks like his domain is up for grabs, too)
Oops, Nevermind tried to get back up after a long hiatus but was shot down with computer problems.
I'd include the Green Avenger, too, but Abby said she's going to update again. Sadly, I'm not holding my breath.

Return to Sender - art + spiffy storyline + large amounts of funny = me being sad when it ended so suddenly.

Man i loved this so much.
There is just so much that could of been done with the concept.

love it like it deserves

Hey, does anybody remember the comic Emiko's Genesis? It's from like, 1996 back when 'Impro-manga' was popular. Does anybody know if it still exists anywhere?

I was google dumpster diving when I thought about it, but it seems to have dropped into internet limbo.

I loved that comic, too!
I loved it like it deserves. But it didn't love me back. It's a sad, tragic tale of broken promises and dangling plotlines...sniff!
