Oh yeah...I heard about that. Didn't they start out making it almost impossible to become a jedi and then just decide to let anyone be one or something after the game had been out for a while? I seem to remember something like that. Unless it was just that I heard speculation that turned out to not come true.



Yeah, that sounds pretty cool. Galaxies was made before the Sith was even really invented, right? Could you turn to the dark side in that game at all?

It seems to make sense to turn the hugely popular Star Wars RPG into an MMO. Probably moreso than just making an MMO without a game to base it on.

Yeah that would be a lot of fun. And I have always been interested in the Star Wars MMO idea. ...I've never really played MMOs, though. I'm not really used to investing more than 20 minutes at a time into video games, so I've never been able to make that leap. But if I do, it would be cool to have some friends in game.

I'm hesitantly excited about The Old Republic. What's really hooked me is their talk of adding story content to the MMORPG. One of the writers in the documentary mentions making game-changing decisions without save points -- that kind of thing delights me!

But everything is still so unstable that I'm really afraid it will turn into another WoW clone or something. Also, it seems like Jedi are the only playable class, and who the hell wants to play as a Jedi? I guess I really just want to play what Galaxies was before that Jedi update. I hear you could be a musician...

Jeff, you haven't actually played the original KOTOR games, right? You should get on that. Well, play the FIRST one. The second one is crap and, clocking in at about 50-60 hours of gameplay, is probably the biggest waste of time I've ever spent.

You can still be an "entertainer" as they are called in galaxies.

Biggest bunch of Macros in a cantina blaring music and half naked aliens dancing.

If you're into that kind of thing.

They have not said that Jedi/Sith would be the only playable classes... but I assume that it is.

But there are 3 different classes of Jedi/Sith.... Then there are 3 different classes of Master Level Jedi/Sith

If you played KOTOR:2

Then you know there is more to being a jedi.. than wielding a lightsaber and being force sensative.

I guess if you wanted your very own stuffed GUINEA PIG astronaut, you could do as I have done and get the different pieces and put them together! Unfortunately, the space suit belongs to a DVD promotional toy, and the helmet belongs to one of the same set of promotional toys, but one that I can't even seem to locate online.

I was amazed when I, on a whim, tried to put the suit on the toy I had already purchased. Worked out pretty well! The helmet doesn't really work, though, as it makes the toy top-heavy and fall over. A great item for my booth, though! I got some good response to it.

Pretty clever. I WAS wondering why the fur color didn't match either Orton or Jeremy.

I was just at the theatre watching the previews before "UP" and the thought occurred to me: you should sue Disney for G-Force. You're obviously the first to think up the guinea pigs in heavily equipped suits motif. Be warned, however, that I may be suggesting this course of action only because of my disdain for any movie containing the line of dialogue, "Wooo! Guinea pigs gone wild!!"

I'm just hoping G-Force passes by like a flutter in the wind. I had at least 10 people come up and ask me about it at the convention. I can't imagine it becoming a "classic," so I don't think I have much to worry about beyond this summer. I guess the only other thing to watch out for are sequels or a TV show based on the movie. Man, that would suck...

Actually, I find Richard's revival to be outrageous. I come here to read a comic called "Suffering and Death," and the one person who dies in the whole story gets a superhero death.
