I like the new style.

the dark layout is a great addition, just brooding there.

Updated the website a little bit! Made it so that when you hover over 4/5 buttons they light up and tell you what they are/will be. The 5th is a surprise and won't be available until later in the series.

Also, when you click "News" you get to see author's notes for the page!

I may just be picky...but I'm not a big fan of the light up text on the side. Personally I'd rather see it be normally a different color (although finding a good color to work with black might be difficult).

That's cool, Guy. I respect your opinion. The whole reason I have it light up on the side is so that you can read the comic with no interruptions at all... no text to disturb your eyes (or not very noticeable text, anyway).

I thought it was special effects.

Its a good reason, and I can see your reasoning for having it. The problem is (for some reason) the thing REALLY turns me off from reading the text—perhaps its the color itself which makes the text somewhat of a bother to read.

It's got a post-apocalypse-resident-evil-ish kinda feel to it. I like it. I like red.

Wonder if there'll be zombies. ;D

The kind of art used in the "Red Future" comics remind me heavily of the art used in the punk and nerds series and the stubble comics. Was josh a heavy influence in making these comics?

That's a really good movie. Had to study it for an awesome animation class at uni. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates more than plain Hollywood movies.

Edit: I mean the movie by Andrei Tarkovsky, that the game is based on.

Kinda reminds me of one of my Resident Evil Chronicals.

A short story based off the video games, not the movies.

But mine was purely text, not a comic. So this sunk my ship on that one. Lol

====

I always had a facination with a world where the sane are locked to watch the world tear itself apart around them. But I didn't want you to expirience it with them. I like hearing the telling of it.

In my chronicals, I wrote it much to the description of cloverfeild, a handheld camra... sometimes set into postion for a documentation of survivors. This video diary went through the different stages of paranoia and desperation.

I turned it in for an English project back in highschool.

Teacher thought it was the most morbid but strangely entertaining project he had to grade.

So I really like this comic because it takes onto the feeling of terror, while keeping professionalism.

"I have a job to do, but I don't know how much longer I can take it!" So to speak.

I also like how the comic and the journal are related but not corresponding. It makes me want to write another chronical.

I look forward to reading more. ^.^

Thanks Myst! That's the kind of feedback I like to hear!

I can't really say anything inspired the strip in terms of plot/genre... years of ideas just rumbling around in my head, I kinda mixed them all together and made something p good IMO.

New strip up, btw!

Nothing too special happening in this one... next one is pretty monumental, though!
