I blame Mike Carey's Lucifer for a lot of things in my life...most of them awesome. ;)
(Did I ever mention that I thought there was a girl named Lucy Morningstar in one of my classes for like half the semester? Turns out it wasn't quite Morningstar, buuuut...close enough.)

Anyway, yes, I hate when I write myself into drawing something that I can't and/or hate. You will note, for instance, that the cast of DW? Yeah, they will never ride horseback. Not for any reason. Ever. Which is, frankly, for the best all around. Because the creatures that are created when I try to draw horses and then mount people upon them? Yeah, I don't know what they are, but they aren't horses, and they aren't ponies, and if they're distantly related to either, then I feel bad for equines.

You mean she wasn't? Awwww. But yes, I remember! You talked about in on lj! Did you ever get to talk to her?

xD Horses are notorious for that. I admit I haven't tried them. Basically any animal besides humans, I try and then go, "The hell is that?"

Yeah, I did but alas she was kind of boring. Totally undeserving of such a name. But oh well, it still entertained me.

And yeah, that is exactly my reaction as well to whatever I draw that isn't people. Ugh.

You little...
I love how I get the blame being the only active in the forum right now. (Where'd everybody go, anyway?) You realize I have no money, right?

And hey, my site is up and running now! Aaaaapril Foooool's. (Yeah actually, maybe I should really make it work instead of using it as a "Sign of the Apocalypse"-type joke.)

Seriously though, I had to post about your RvB comment yesterday. I was going to say "It's Blue vs. Red battles. No one says 'Red vs. Blue. You sound stupid when you say it backwards." Heheeeh TODAY IS THE PREMIERE OF REVELATION EEE I'M SO EXCITED! :D  So yeah, if you didn't know, that's in a couple of hours. It's the final season of the trilogy-thing they've been doing!

And also, compliments on this story arc, I'm quite entertained by it so far. Seriously, is there something in the air making everyone go all catfighty? I love what an asshole the angel is, and working with a regular type of asshole, and lines such as "God with God, Damned one" and "'Cause you know, we don't hold hands so much but I'm not 'desperate to climb above' or whatever."

EDIT: Also, what the hell? Why are random words in my entry showing up as links to ads I do not link? Not cool, rampage.

Yep, your fault! :D
(And I don't know. I think we scared them all away. Come back, guys, we don't bite...that's what we keep the vampires around for!)

Man, I've only seen Season One of RvB so far...I really need to get on that, because I think I've already seen that one so many times I could quote the whole thing. Seriously I think the only thing I can quote in bigger chunks is Star Wars OT. Which I can pretty much recite straight through but I think that surprises no one.

Anyway, thank you! Yeah, I gave the whole cast a double dose of snark for this one. ;) Meow.
And I think the random word-ad thing is just the new advertising that Horatio's trying out to pay for Rampage. Just try to ignore it.

Also: want site! Linkage! C'mooooon!

Sorry for totally disappearing when we were just talking about people disappearing. Not on purpose, I just don't feel like spending nearly as much time on the internet nowadays for some reason. My queue of things awaiting reply is quite ugly, and growing fangs.

What? For shame, Nicky! For. SHaaaaaaaaaammmme. But in all seriousness, do it. Their site circulates through the seasons... Here, I pasted their explanation of the season circulation:
A: Or you could just visit our online archive under RvB Videos. When a Season is running, the archive shows a rolling window of videos every week. This archive rolls every Tuesday night to the next 3-5 episodes. When it hits the end it starts over again.
Yeah. Also, the trilogy thing you can technically watch standalone--though you'd enjoy it more having watched all of Blood Gulch first--but you can.

Yeah, well. there are a few more since you last saw (I assume), but I dropped off my update schedule due to fucking up the update multiple times--I've inked it like four times now. Bllleeeaaah. But yeah. Eventually. (Plus now I'm confused about the story... sigh...)

Yeah, I had a queue like that once. (Or, you know, more than once...) If you leave the beast alone long enough, it starves to death and dies from neglect. ;) Or so I've always hoped, at least...

And yes, great shame, I know. Speaking of fang-bearing lists of things to be done, right? Yeeeeeah. I'll get there. Eventually. Really...

Although I will note that you still neglected to post a link for the forum. (You know, for all the hoards and hoards of people we have floating around these days...? Yeah, I think we finally scared them all off. Oops.)

Heheh... we need to scare up some business! Scare? Eh, eh? ;) Yeah, okay, bad pun time over now.... until next time...
Yeah, I dunno, for me, if the beast dies from neglect, it takes me down with it... siiiigh.
Yeah, it is a lot to watch.

Maybe my head is surfacing again--I finished my first playthrough of Arkham Asylum, which had sort of swallowed my life for a bit--so maybe I will get back to accomplishing things (heheh, yeah right). It's because it's like watching an episode, only you have to be Batman doing anything, so there are no time elapses (except when you're out cold), and you don't get to drive or fly. But that game was great and then a letdown at the end. Bitter face. Oh! That reminds me!
So way back when you posted about being sick, my reaction that I was going to post, but you know, didn't, was as below:
LIAR! LIAR YOU ARE LYING! I KNOW BECAUSE I GOT SICK THAT FRIDAY AND HAVE BEEN WATCHING CONSTANT JUSTICE LEAGUE, THEREFORE I KNOW YOU HAVE STOLEN MY BRAINWAVES!!!!
...Yeah. It was a really freaky coincidence, because I had the plague cold and whatnot at the same time.

Ha ha, that is awesome! I mean, not awesome that you were sick, but awesome that we are both clearly awesome enough that we know the very best activity for illness, and that it to loll about watching the DCAnimated 'Verse. Which is awesome, yes. It's like chicken soup, only brightly colored and witty and does not often contain chicken.

Although sometimes pigs and sometimes WonderPigs ahem yes anyway...

Also, I completely understand that disappearance. I have been drooling over Arkham Asylum for...since it came out, I believe. Finally got to see it up-close and in action a few weeks ago, and was suitably impressed. Haven't been able to play it, because the stupid thing is not available on PC, bah. But that is probably a good thing as I would also disappear and that would be bad. What with the stuff that needs done and all. But it is voiced by Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy and that is awesome because they are brilliant and I swear I heard Conroy's voice in my head whenever I read Batman even before I heard him voice the Caped Crusader. It is just perfect. I think that might be why no actor on screen will ever be able to seriously pull-off Bats for me, because they are not Conroy and he is Batman.

Geek Tangent Alert: One of my profs actually met him. He was at some dinner that Warner Brothers was having because he had done some artwork for them for something I can't remember, and he was chatting with this guy there and they got around to talking about what they did for a living/why they were there, and Conroy just drops his voice in The Voice and says, "I'm Batman." My prof totally squeed and geeked out (his wife was so embarassed/exasperated/amused) and Conroy apparently thought that was hysterical, so throughout the conversation for the rest of the evening he would just randomly switch to the Batman Voice for a sentence or two and Goto (my prof) would geek out every time. As is, of course, the only proper response.

There was no point to that story beyond the fact that I love the DCAU. And welcome back. And next time we share a Jedi MindLink, let's make it one that doesn't involve plague, shall we?

For me, I'd actually been watching JL before that came about, and just continued but yes, definite agreement there nonetheless.

OMD That is HILARIOUS (and totally the only proper reaction) and I am glad to have this glimpse at Kevin Conroy's personality and know he was cool enough not to be like "Dude, you're overreacting" or something like that. Eheheh... I am going to tell that story to so many people they will hit me to make me stop talking. (Well, not really that many people. Just those I particularly know.) Agreement on the skill of those actors, as well.

And, ummm, I probably shouldn't tell you this... I really shouldn't tell you this... :? Okay, so that is totally what I thought too, because I'm so used to all these things being for one console only which I don't have, so I was just resigned to the fact I was going to miss out on that game, then found out I had been unnecessarily deprived because game companies finally got smart and are multiplatforming. So yes it is available on the PC.Though you'll need a proper not-crappy video card and whatnot.

Now I'm going to go run and hide because this time, I truly am responsible for bringing about the end of this webcomic...

You can play it on the PC? Stars and garters! Well gee, Mamelakazam, there you go again...only this time it's for reals the end of DW and not just an April Fool's gag. Good work. ;)

And as the family desktop computer has been upgraded by the little brother to be properly super-game-capable...mwahaha.

Oh but yes I know, I love telling that story and it has made me totally love Conroy because he is not only Awesome Batman, he is Generally Awesome as well. Made me very happy. Go share the "I'm Batman" glee! (I tell it every chance I get, too. I think at least half the regulars at my comic book store have heard it by now.)

...Me, I'm gonna go see if I can't maybe find myself a sale on a certain game... ;)

I have been much heartened by the nonetheless continuing updates. Or maybe our dear Dark Knight is just eluding you? ;) (Nah, I doubt it.) But yeah. you'll definitely want to change the controls 'cause they are baaaaaaad.

I wish our other forum goers were still here! I'd be fun to do a poll or something like Ryani used to, in the good old days, but it doesn't work with only the two of us here... :|
Yeah, I call bull on Dolph's "For the last time, I do NOT have a crush on Dolores!" thing. Yeah right.

 AND ZOMG THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR HOW MUCH I AM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. THIS. I MUST PREORDER (my birthday's coming up, so it's officially top on my list now). ITS RELEASE DATE IS THIS NOVEMBER. I EXPECT TO SEE YOU THERE. :!: (Ugh there is no proper smiley for the necessity of that duty statement.) I shall be a villain bringing pain upon the cage of society. [salutes]

Oh, oh that does look pretty...but no, no I can't. Nope. Haven't even bought Arkham yet (I get myself in enough trouble with the multitude of distractions I already have in the house...) I've decided to force myself to focus on a combination of funds and work ethic, and postpone buying Bats until, 1, the Renaissance Faire season is over and I can see how much money I shouldn't have spent there and, 2, I get caught up on all the art I'm supposed to be doing. So no Batman for me yet...I'm trying to be good...bah. And humbug.

But no, no you will not see me there. Being evil and awesome. No. I will be...good, and restrain myself.

Ugh. That doesn't sound fun at all. There needs to be an Utterly Disgusted Emoticon I can insert here. Our smilies are failing us, mamkaz!

So your mission: bring enough pain and destruction for the both of us to the hapless cities of the DCU. :D I have full confidence in your abilities in this regard.

* * *

Also, you are right. Poll does not work so well, alas. Especially since I kind of know the answers...heh. Maybe I can think up some kind of a contest-thing to drag people to the forum, where they will be impressed/frightened by our insanity, and choose to linger. Any ideas?

Curses! So much fail!
Yeah, see, me, I'm cheating by putting the preorder for DCUO on my birthday list, so I don't have to pay for it. And they've just announced the release date of Star Wars: The Old Republic for this upcoming Spring, so we can save that request for Christmas. :g: Man, we seem to be talking about games now... though then again, this is the randomness thread. I guess it's kind of similar to the polls, there's only so much speculative discussion I can bounce off you, what with you knowing the answers and all.
Hmm, contest. As far as you can tell from the hits, are they still reading, and just lurking or something? There's always just saying "Heeeeeeyyy come back to the forum people!"

Heheh, so now I am sanctioned to fulfill my duty bringing even more damage? Weeeeellllll, I guess if you insist, I will somehow make the sacrifice, somehow.
And yes, to answer your old lj question, Dragon Age does totally rock, and you get the "Coolest Sister Ever" award for getting him that. And that company is why I have so much faith in Old Republic. Oh yeah, and the new E3 trailer for it is here. (I just picked a youtube one that actually plays.)

Yeah, definite good luck on all that money and crap. I'm not looking forward to hitting that spot after graduating. I start to wonder if I should have chosen game design instead, but too late now. :|

ALDERAAN!

Oh and that Jedi girl was frakking badass.

Holy Huttspit that looked amazing. I want those guys to make an Old Republic CGI movie now. Because wow.

...and yes, you are right, but it is the randomness thread, sooo...I think we can talk about whatever we want, especially when what we want to talk about is that incredibly cool!

Oh, and hits say they're there...they're just not talking. :? Clearly they underestimate the awesomeness that is the forum. And by "the forum" I apparently just mean, "you and me." Oh well. Maybe I can think up something to drag them in...

- - - -

Also, totally off topic (is there such a thing in this thread?), LadieL and I came up with the best emoticon of all time: T
It's a Mandalorian emoticon! It works for every facial expression and emotion imaginable, because they all look the same when they're underneath an opaque T-shaped visor.

WHY did I disappear so long.

Okay. Anyway.

Well, at least they're there. Yeah, when I saw that, I squealed "Alderaanians are peaceful!" rather loudly at the screen. Yeah. -_-
Best. emoticon. ever. You guys should get an award for that or something...

I totally had something else to say. But no idea what now.
